Junior Achievement South Africa (JA South Africa) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to empowering young people through entrepreneurship, work readiness, financial literacy, and digital skills development.

We are seeking a motivated and creative Marketing & Communications Intern to support our Marketing & Communications function with day-to-day content creation, social media, events, and administrative coordination.

This is a developmental opportunity offering practical experience and a pathway to a permanent Marketing & Communications Administrator/Officer role within 12–18 months, subject to performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with newsletters, website updates, and social media content

• Support the design of marketing collateral and branded materials

• Coordinate events and campaigns

• Maintain marketing calendars, databases, and digital platforms

• Track basic analytics and provide administrative support

Minimum Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field

• 0–1 year relevant experience or internship exposure

• Strong writing, organisational, and digital skills

• Knowledge of Canva and social media platforms
