JA South Africa expands board to drive youth impact
JA South Africa Welcomes Kamini Redhi and Nthatisi Quella to Its Board of Directors
The strength of an organization is often measured not only by the programs it delivers, but by the leadership that helps guide its vision for the future.
As JA South Africa continues to expand its reach and deepen its impact, strong governance and diverse perspectives remain essential to achieving its mission of preparing young people for success through entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and work readiness education.
It is within this context that JA South Africa is pleased to welcome Kamini Redhi and Nthatisi Quella to its Board of Directors.
Both leaders bring extensive experience, strategic insight, and a shared commitment to creating opportunities for young people across Africa.
Kamini Redhi currently serves as Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Africa at Mastercard, where she leads strategic marketing and communications efforts across the continent. Her career spans some of the world's most recognized brands, including Coca Cola, Unilever, Estée Lauder Companies, and Nielsen.
Throughout her career, Kamini has built a reputation for driving impactful brand strategies, fostering meaningful consumer engagement, and leading initiatives that connect business growth with social impact. Her experience across diverse African markets provides valuable insight into the opportunities and challenges shaping the continent's future.
Joining her on the board is Nthatisi Quella, Africa Office Director at the Harvard University Center for African Studies.
With more than two decades of experience across education systems in Lesotho, South Africa, and the United States, Nthatisi brings extensive expertise in educational leadership, stakeholder engagement, strategy execution, and institutional development. Her work has focused on expanding access to learning opportunities, strengthening partnerships, and supporting leadership development across the continent.
Together, Kamini and Nthatisi add complementary perspectives that align closely with JA South Africa's work. Their expertise spans business, education, leadership development, communications, and organizational growth, all areas that continue to play an important role in advancing opportunities for young people.
Their appointments come at a time of continued growth for the organization. Through programs focused on entrepreneurship, financial literacy, project management, work readiness, and digital learning, JA South Africa continues to expand its reach among both in school and out of school youth.
As the organization looks toward the future, these appointments reflect more than the addition of new board members. They represent an investment in leadership, innovation, and collaboration.
Most importantly, they reinforce a shared belief that young people deserve access to the skills, experiences, and opportunities needed to succeed in a rapidly changing world.
JA South Africa welcomes Kamini and Nthatisi and looks forward to the insight, expertise, and leadership they will bring as the organization continues to empower the next generation of South African changemakers.
